How much bandwidth is included with my plan?

For hosting plans supporting unlimited website traffic (bandwidth), we do not have defined limitations. These resources are “unlimited”, and  means you are not billed for to the amount of bandwidth you use. Of course, these resources are not infinite, and we believe our clients should receive all the resources necessary to build an online presence. Furthermore, 99% of customers will have more than enough bandwidth to meet their needs.

However, we do require all our customers to use bandwidth in a manner consistent with the normal operation of a website. While rare, we occasionally constrain accounts utilizing more resources than should be the case in the normal operation of a personal or small business website.

How do you define “normal” operation?

We regularly check client’s bandwidth usage in order to ensure they comply with our “normal” operating standards. Although, these tests vary from month to month, one thing remains constant; 99% of our clients do comply with the “normal” operating standards. If your account’s bandwidth causes any concern, you will receive an email asking you to reduce the usage. We strive to provide at least a 2 day notice in order to allow clients to make adjustments before we take any corrective action.

Any constraints on websites, domain names, or email?

For hosting plans featuring unlimited websites, domains, or email accounts, we do not enforce any official limitations. Clients are able to utilize as many of these features as they wish. However, these resources are not infinite and there are maximums associated with the technology powering them. For example, while email account creation is unlimited, the emails rely on the disc space available on the hosting account. Therefore, clients need to be operating within the Terms of Service to ensure resources are available to fully enable email functionality.
